Retro Aerobic with Christine

Retro Aerobics at Alive Gym every Friday at 11am @Alive Gym Studio

An hour long class suitable for all ages and fitness levels that will get your heart rate up energise you and train your muscles, mixing cardio, strength and ab work, with an extended stretch at the end.
General aerobics is great for…improving your posture, core stability, and co-ordination, while strengthening your heart.

Christine is a very experienced fitness instructor who offers core fitness, HIIT, retro-aerobics and body conditioning classes as well as body image fitness coaching through @bopofitco or bespoke small group PT sessions. She is also trained in post natal fitness and is certified in 3rd age women’s fitness and nutrition with Burrell Education.

Who is Christine? Christine is a mum of 2 growing girls and as such beliefs very strongly in promoting a positive body image to her daughters and to those who attend her classes. Having just been appointed a BE REAL Campaign Ambassador, she’s passionate about helping women to use their bodies to feel stronger & more confident. Can you use exercise as a celebration of what your body can do rather than a punishment for what you ate?

Christine feels that many of the messages in the fitness industry are solely focussed on the aesthetic rather than moving your body for pleasure and to feel good in your own skin. So many women have a distorted image of themselves and their bodies and feel trapped in a never-ending cycle of losing weight, calorie counting and exercising to burn off the food they shouldn’t have eaten! Christine wants to change the conversation around self-worth, food and exercise.

Can you use exercise as a celebration of what your body can do rather than a punishment for what you ate?
