This class is designed to uncrunch and destress you, with time left to grab a salad.
Pilates helps to rebalance your body, rehabilitate injuries and improve posture and core strength. It’s brilliant for managing stress and anxiety and appropriate for all ages and abilities.
It helps you to understand how you move and use your body, working smaller stabilising muscles that are often ignored and using steady, rhythmic breathing to oxygenate and calm.
Originally developed to rehabilitate injured soldiers and then to keep dancers fit and supple, it has a reputation for helping with bad backs, shoulders and hips.
It’s also used by professional and amateur athletes as a counterpart to sport-specific training – a great mix with everything from weightlifting to tennis, football and running.
